About
Tarini is a Fine Artist and Curator based in New Delhi. An alumnus of Pratt Institute, New York, she takes inspiration from folktales, vases and reflective materials. Her intricate line drawings are inspired by the rich detailing in Japanese art; from the storytelling of geishas to the beauty of woodcuts. Through her work, she explores themes of human intimacy and the taboo of body-consciousness. In 2017, Tarini had her first solo show at India International Centre, New Delhi.
