"Terrestrial abstractions for the untethered soul"
Vipurva Parikh is a photographer living in Mumbai, India. Taking pictures for about sixteen years now, his work is sometimes labeled commercial and sometimes editorial. He doesn’t mind these tags at all, especially if it means getting to travel around India, his favourite muse, and making photographs that to him are always personal. Vipurva finds India’s forms, geometry and people mesmerising, particularly from way up high. Acquiring a drone in recent years has given him an entirely new perspective on landscape photography and, to some extent, life. Which leads him to strongly suspect that birds are wiser than humans. Vipurva has had 2 solo shows - one in Mumbai, India and another in Phoenix, USA, along with being a part of several art collective shows.
