The growth of Mumbai from seven separate islands to one of the world's biggest cities can be charted through the lens of architectural landmarks that have come and gone, as well as those that are still standing or just taking shape. Each of these has left a lasting impression on a city that never stops rising and surging ahead. This is the inspiration behind Birla Estate's latest initiative Mumbai Rising, a public art project to celebrate this great city and its landmarks.
It has been an absolute honour for us to bring this mural project to life in collaboration with a host of talented artists and art collectives along Mumbai's iconic P.B. Marg in Lower Parel.
