About The Artist
Anirudh Acharya is a self-taught artist. Growing up in a home where art was always encouraged, Anirudh's early interest in drawing and painting marked the beginning of a journey that led to the development of his striking and authentic visual style. Shifting almost entirely to the digital medium over the past few years given its versatility, he creates images that are moody, surreal and unforgettable. Anirudh considers the spaces he grew up in to be his biggest influence. From the city terraces to the beaches, these spaces - wrapped in stories and emotions - form a rich inner landscape which he has been exploring through his work. Formally trained as a mathematician, Anirudh continues with this exploration alongside his day job as a scientist.
