Aashti Miller

About The Artist

Aashti Miller is an architect by day and an illustrator by night. A Henry Adams AIA Medallist and a licensed Architect in the US and India, she was born and raised in Mumbai and studied Architecture at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Aashti is also the sole force behind MillerInk, a graphic design and illustration studio. Inspired by spaces, places and faces, she 'constructs' her drawings in an attempt to make sense of the unexpected collision between her two seemingly disparate worlds. As a result, her style and aesthetics have evolved into detailed drawings that tread the fine line between the constructed and the painted, digital and analog, as well as the two and three dimensional. One of Aashti’s most notable illustration projects is ‘The World is My Oyster,’ a children’s book which highlights accomplished Indian women and provides role models for little girls ready to take on the world.
