About The Artist
Shirali is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work revolves around textiles, furniture, illustration and storytelling. Driven by a hands-on approach and a love for colours and simplicity, she immerses herself in the everyday to draw inspiration for her creations. An alumnus of Srishti School of Design and NID Ahmedabad, Shirali has previously been a part of Godrej & Boyce’s innovation lab where she explored the fields of textiles and space. At present, she divides her time between Panchgani and Mumbai where she runs Studio Ekadha, her own little space for working on her art and other projects. Shirali counts Sheila Hicks, Dieter Rams and Josef Albers as her inspirations.
