About The Artist
Vivek has always been attracted to the notion of portraying the beauty that surrounds us. That, and the inexplicable joy he experiences every time he captures a good photo. These feelings have stayed with him throughout – be it the days of using up tons of film on old Kodak cameras or his first time handling a DSLR. So when he finally graduated from med school, he decided against pursuing medicine as a career and transformed his hobby into a full-time practice. Vivek likes to focus on patterns in the natural world, especially landscapes – landscapes defined by light – as he likes to call them. His work has been featured on various notable platforms including BBC Earth and Travel + Leisure. Apart from photography, Vivek’s other interests include gardening, birding, reading and painting.
