About The Artist

Vijay Sarathy is a self-taught visual artist and photographer based out of Chennai. Raised by the sea and championed by the mountains, he is most himself when alone in the thick of nature with a journal and a camera. His work depicts the emotional landscape of nature through vivid and surreal compositions and invites the viewer to find a mirror to their own landscape within. Vijay’s work has been featured in numerous platforms and publications including VSCO and Feature Shoot. Besides photography, Vijay divides his time between writing longform and haikus - and earnestly planning his next getaway from the city.
