About The Artist
Born in 1994 in Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, Raju Maravi’s introduction to the Pardhan Gond school of painting was watching his uncle and artist Anand Shyam at work during his visits to Bhopal. Apart from his own practice, which also includes wall installations, Raju conducts extensive Gond painting workshops for children as well as adults.
